Best Moment

The first time playing with my tiny toddler made for one of those melt-your-heart parenting moments. We chose a level 1 build, and her tiny little fingers carefully placed each block in its spot as Dad fumbled around trying to get it right. Her big brother and sister cheered her on and chanted “Blow it up! Blow it up!” when she was done. She squealed with delight when she hit the dynamite and sent my blocks crashing to the table. It may seem small, but big wins for kids are even bigger wins for parents!

Flashlights & Fireflies Kids Game Review: Sneaky kids game of freeze-tag and adventure!

The very first thing that drew me into Flashlights & Fireflies was the ambiance! I could just picture myself as a little kid running around in the dark with the neighborhood kids playing night games. I think that’s a major reason why my kids are so obsessed with this game right now.

Ranglin’ Rabbits Kids Game Review – Flick ’em, roll ’em, drop ’em, scare ’em, lure ’em, round ’em up

Ranglin’ Rabbits is a crazy kids game. It involves lots of laughs, cheers, groans of frustration, and adorable kid clapping (you know: fingers spread wide, palms straight together, rapid clapping that melts your heart!). Essentially each dice is a rabbit, and you try to capture as many as you can into a four-sided fence enclosure. Sound easy? Well add to that dropping the handful of rabbit dice from half a foot off the surface, scared bunnies running all over the place, flicking rabbits into the enclosed area, moving fence pieces…and don’t forget the explosions. Oh, the explosions. Just when you think you’ve got a good handle of things – BAM. Not anymore.
